
WHAT IS R.E. HOUSE?
R.E. House is a Resource and Education Centre that creates tailored day opportunities for individuals with learning disabilities and autism. We operate Monday to Friday, 9 am to 3 pm, focusing on skill-building, independence, and an active presence in the local community.

UNIQUE THEMED ROOMS
Spaces like the Tardis, Beach Hut, Craft Room, and more provide unique settings for creativity and learning.

WALLED GARDEN AND MAIN SPACE
Open areas for group activities, games, and social gatherings.

FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN
Where individuals learn meal preparation, food hygiene, and have the opportunity to develop their independence.

INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS
Meal prep, laundry, and other life skills.
EXERCISE & WELLNESS
Tailored fitness activities like aerobics, yoga, cycling, and swimming.
COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
Beach walks, theatre visits, shopping trips, local museums, cafés, bowling and more. We use Public Transport to travel further afield London is just a short train ride away!
SCHOOL'S OUT HOLIDAY CLUB
For students aged 14+, our School’s Out Holiday Club runs every school break, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. Days are filled with activities like bowling, cooking, exercise sessions, and day trips, creating a safe, engaging environment to ease the transition into adult services.

HEALTH & WELLBEING
Our approach prioritises both physical and mental well-being with swimming, cycling, and dance classes accessed with support. Activities are tailored to meet each individual’s needs, providing a supportive, enjoyable way to stay active. From an active stroll to couch to 5k we support all to be as active as possible.
INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS
Promoting independence is at the heart of what we do. Through cooking, shopping, and daily household tasks, we provide real-life opportunities to build skills and confidence.
PROMOTING INDEPENDENCE
Using public transport to access the wider community, participating in exercise, taking care of personal belongings, and managing personal finances are all part of the RE House experience, helping individuals build independence and engage with the community.
WORKING TOWARDS ASDAN INDEPENDENCE MODULE
Participants can work towards the ASDAN Independence Modules, covering skills like using public transport, managing money, and living independently.
